A bit about me – I am a Primary teacher, I taught in rural Kent, England for six years and absolutely loved it before being torn away, turned into a trailing spouse and whisked off to Singapore with my husband and very young daughter. Fourteen years later, we now have a gorgeous family of three girls (yes, they are sometimes loud and often squabble) and two dogs that are obsessed with my husband.
I have been lucky enough to continue working part time in an International School here in Singapore and over the years have made great friends who now live all around the world. An expat lifestyle sounds grand but at this time of the year, it’s always the same and it’s hard to say goodbye.
I love to keep busy and often have many projects on the go, I have been a keen supporter of CandleAid Lanka a charity based in Sri Lanka and have supported their swimming project for the last 8 years.
Please do check out their website, they have really made a big difference to underprivileged children.
